Setting up your Flirty profile

Your profile is the only thing standing between you and a conversation, so it’s worth ten minutes rather than two.

Create your account

Download Flirty, then sign up with your email address. We’ll send you a magic link. Tap it on the same device and you’re in. There’s no password to forget.

If the link doesn’t arrive within a minute, check your spam folder before requesting another. Requesting several in a row triggers a short cooldown, so give the first one a chance to land.

Add your photos

The photos and videos on your profile (the ones people discover and flirt on) are shot right in the app, with no filters and no edits. That’s the real you, and it’s how Flirty keeps profiles genuine and cuts down on catfishing. (Your profile picture, and anything you send in chat, can come from your gallery.) A few things that genuinely help:

• Lead with your face. Clear, well lit, no sunglasses. It’s the single biggest factor in whether a flirt gets accepted.
• Show your life, not just your face. Somewhere you go, something you do.
• Video works. A few seconds of you talking beats any still photo.

Every photo and video is checked automatically before it appears. This usually takes a few seconds. If something is rejected, you’ll be told. It isn’t a bug.

Fill in the details

Your name, age, and location are the basics. Then there’s the part that actually gets you replies:

• About Me: the essentials people filter on.
• Prompts: pick up to five and answer them like a person, not a CV. “I’m weirdly competitive about” beats “I love to laugh.”
• This or That: quick either/or picks. They’re a conversation starter as much as a profile field.

Set your preferences

Tell Flirty who you’re looking for and how far you’ll travel. You can change any of it later in Settings without losing anything.

Once your profile has at least one approved photo, you’re discoverable, and you can start flirting.
