Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Flirty is an adults-only dating app. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any content or behaviour that sexualises minors. These standards explain how we prevent it, how to report it, and what we do when we find it. They sit alongside ourTerms of Service andCommunity Guidelines.
Flirty is for adults only
- You must be 18 or over to use Flirty. Our Terms and app store ratings are 18+.
- Every new account gives a date of birth, and anyone whose date of birth shows they are under 18 cannot create an account.
- Where the app stores tell us an account belongs to a minor, we block sign-up.
- If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we ban it. If you think someone on Flirty is under 18, please report them.
What is never allowed
- Child sexual abuse material of any kind, real or generated.
- Sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises minors.
- Grooming, or contacting, soliciting or arranging to meet a minor.
- Helping a minor get onto Flirty.
- Sharing, requesting or promoting any of the above, on Flirty or by sending people elsewhere.
How we prevent it
- Profile photos, stories and posts are scanned automatically for nudity and sexual content when they're uploaded. Flagged posts are hidden until a person reviews them.
- Every report made with the Child safety reason is reviewed by a person and prioritised over other reports.
- Nudity and sexually explicit content are not allowed anywhere on Flirty, so most of this content is removed before anyone reports it.
How to report
- In the app: open the person's profile or your chat with them, tap the••• menu, choose Report and pickChild safety. You can also block them straight away.
- By email: write tosupport@flirtyapp.comwith “Child safety” in the subject line. You don't need a Flirty account.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
You can also report child sexual abuse material directly to theNCMEC CyberTipline (US) or theInternet Watch Foundation (UK).
What we do when we find it
- We remove the content and permanently ban the account on the first confirmed violation.
- We preserve the evidence securely, as the law requires.
- We report child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
- We cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
