Terms of Service

These Terms are the agreement between you and FLIRTY LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14409571 (“Flirty”, “we”, “us”), for use of the Flirty mobile app, website and related services. By creating an account, buying a subscription or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, ourCommunity Guidelines and ourPrivacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Flirty.

Flirty is an adults-only dating and social app. You must be 18 or older to use it.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
• You must provide accurate account information, including your real date of birth.
• You must not use Flirty if you are banned, suspended or legally prohibited from using the Service.
• Flirty may close an account if we reasonably believe the user is under 18, using false identity information, evading enforcement or creating safety risk.

We check age using the date of birth you give us. If it shows you are under 18, the account is banned automatically; if the date is wrong, you can appeal. If the law in a country requires stronger age checks for a feature, we may require them before you use that feature.

2. Your Account

• Keep your sign-in method secure and tell us promptly atsecurity@flirtyapp.com if you believe your account is compromised.
• Use one account for yourself. Do not impersonate anyone or use someone else’s photos, voice, videos or likeness without permission.
• Keep profile information reasonably accurate. Do not misrepresent your age, identity, relationship intent or location in a way that deceives or harms others.
• You are responsible for activity under your account unless it was caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.

3. How Flirty Works

• Flirts come first. You can only message someone after they accept your flirt. A Super Flirt skips that step and opens a chat straight away.
• Chats run on a timer. Each flirt has a 24-hour countdown shown in the app. Some paid plans can reset it a limited number of times a month.
• When a flirt ends, the chat is deleted. This happens when the timer runs out or either person unmatches, declines or blocks. The whole conversation and its photos, videos and voice notes are then permanently deleted for both people, and we cannot recover it. If you might need evidence, report before the flirt ends: reporting a message keeps a copy of that message, and reporting the person from inside the chat keeps a copy of the last 30 messages of the conversation, for our moderators only.
• Daily limits. Free accounts can send a limited number of flirts a day, shown in the app. Paid plans advertised as “unlimited” have a fair-use limit of 150 flirt requests a day to prevent spam.
• Take a Break hides your profile and signs you out until you come back. Flirt timers keep running while you are away, so active chats can still end. Pausing does not cancel a subscription.

4. Dating Safety

Flirty does not conduct criminal background checks, identity checks or health checks on users. We do not guarantee that users are who they say they are, that they are safe to meet, or that any flirt or message will lead to a relationship. Use judgment, protect personal information, meet in public places, and report suspicious or harmful behaviour. Nobody you meet on a dating app needs your money.

5. Your Content

You own the content you create or upload, including photos, videos, profile text, prompts, messages, reports and support communications. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to share it.

You give Flirty a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, transmit, adapt for technical formatting, moderate, back up and otherwise use your content as needed to operate, secure, improve and provide the Service, enforce these Terms, comply with law and respond to safety issues. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies kept in backups, safety records, legal records or other retention described in our Privacy Policy.

Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Do not send anything unless you are comfortable with the recipient seeing it and possibly saving a screenshot, and with Flirty processing it as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Rules

Flirty is an adults-only social and dating app, not an adult-content platform. TheCommunity Guidelines explain the rules in more detail. You must not use Flirty to do any of the following:

• Use the Service if you are under 18 or help a minor access it.
• Upload, request, send, promote or keep child sexual abuse material, sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises minors.
• Upload, send or publicly share pornography, nudity or sexually explicit content, whether in profile content, public content or private messages. Profile and public content must be suitable for a general audience.
• Share non-consensual intimate imagery, hidden-camera content, sexual extortion material, deepfakes intended to deceive or humiliate, or sexual content of someone who did not consent.
• Upload, send or promote terrorist content, content that glorifies or incites terrorism, or content that promotes violent extremism.
• Upload, send or promote content that encourages, glorifies or instructs on suicide, self-harm or eating disorders (including pro-anorexia and pro-bulimia content).
• Share content showing real-world extreme violence, gore or animal cruelty for shock or entertainment.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, dox, intimidate, exploit, blackmail or encourage self-harm or violence.
• Promote hate or discrimination based on protected characteristics.
• Run scams, romance fraud, phishing, spam, bot accounts, fake engagement or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
• Solicit or offer commercial sex, trafficking, illegal goods or services, weapons, controlled substances, counterfeit goods or prescription medicines.
• Infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity or confidentiality rights.
• Scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, attack, interfere with or bypass the Service, security controls, rate limits, App Check, age checks, moderation controls or payment systems.
• Use Flirty for commercial advertising, recruiting, data brokering or political campaigning without our written permission.
• Break any law or app-store rule that applies to you or us.

7. How We Keep Flirty Safe

Reports

You can block anyone and report any account, message or piece of content from inside the app. Reports are reviewed by a person. You can also report by email tosupport@flirtyapp.com, including if you do not have a Flirty account.

Automated scanning

Photos and videos you upload to your profile, posts and stories are scanned automatically by our moderation provider for content that breaks our rules, such as nudity. Flagged posts are hidden until a person reviews them. A new profile photo that the scan rejects is removed straight away, and your previous photo stays. Chat messages and chat media are not scanned automatically. We look at them only when someone reports them, or where the law requires it.

Illegal content

We remove illegal content we become aware of. Where appropriate, we keep evidence and report it to law enforcement or the relevant authorities. This always applies to child sexual abuse material and to threats to someone's life or safety.

What happens if you break the rules

• Each confirmed violation adds a strike to your account. The first strike is a warning, the second is a 7-day suspension, and the third is a permanent ban.
• A strike stops counting 90 days after it was given.
• The most serious violations lead to a permanent ban on the first strike: child safety, threats and violence, non-consensual or exploitative sexual content, terrorism and violent extremism, and scams.
• We may also remove content, restrict features, preserve evidence or contact the authorities. We may act without notice where needed for safety, legal compliance or fraud prevention.
• While your account is suspended or banned, you are signed out. You can still appeal, download your data and delete your account.
• If you delete your account while suspended, banned or with active strikes, and sign up again, the same restriction or strikes apply to the new account (see the Privacy Policy).

When we act against your content or account, we tell you which rule was involved, when the decision was made, whether it was made automatically, and how to appeal. You can see your record at any time in the app under Settings → Account status.

Appeals

You can appeal each decision once, from inside the app. Account decisions (warnings, suspensions and bans) can be appealed within 30 days. A moderator who was not involved in the original decision reviews the appeal, and we aim to answer within 7 days. Content decisions are reviewed again by a moderator, and we aim to answer within 24 hours. If an appeal succeeds, the strike is removed and anything it caused is lifted.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handled a report, a moderation decision, or how we meet our safety duties, email support@flirtyapp.comwith “Complaint” in the subject line. You do not need an account to complain. We will acknowledge your complaint, look into it, and tell you what we decided and why. Complaints do not replace the in-app appeal for a decision about your own account.

8. Paid Plans

Plans and allowances

• Flirty offers paid plans (currently Flirty Plus, Flirty Elite and Flirty Diamond). Their prices, billing periods and benefits are shown in the app before you buy.
• Some benefits are monthly allowances, such as Super Flirts, Rewinds and timer resets. Allowances reset at midnight UTC on the 1st of each month. Unused allowances do not roll over, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
• If a benefit or allowance changes, we will show the change in the app before it applies to you.

Billing, renewal and trials

• Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which charge you under their own terms. Flirty never sees your card or bank details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings before the renewal date shown by the store.
• If a plan comes with a free trial or introductory price, the app shows the price you will pay afterwards. Unless you cancel before the trial or introductory period ends, it renews at that price.
• Deleting your account or taking a break does not cancel your subscription. Cancel through the store as well.

Upgrading, cancelling and refunds

• You can upgrade to a higher plan in the app. To move to a lower plan, change your subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings.
• When you cancel, your paid benefits continue until the end of the period you have paid for. When that period ends, your account returns to the free plan. Features that need a higher plan switch off: Travel Mode below Elite, and Incognito Mode below Diamond (your profile becomes visible again). Your profile and matches are not affected.
• If a purchase is refunded, the benefits it paid for end straight away.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund processes. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have a legal right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days of buying it; you can use it by requesting a refund from Apple or Google. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
• You can restore purchases on a new device by signing in to the same Flirty account and using Restore Purchases in the app.

Changes to prices and plans

We may change prices or paid features in the future. If a change affects an active subscription, you will be told in advance through the app store or the app, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

9. Advertising and Third-Party Services

Free accounts see ads. Ads, links, app-store payments, maps, video hosting, sign-in providers and other third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party products or services, except where the law says we are.

10. App Store Terms

If you download Flirty from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the app-store provider is not responsible for the Service, maintenance, support, claims or user content. Apple and Google may be third-party beneficiaries of the parts of these Terms that apply to their stores.

11. Ending Your Account

You can stop using Flirty at any time and delete your account in the app. Your account is deactivated straight away and deleted after 48 hours. If you sign back in during those 48 hours, the deletion is cancelled (a permanently banned account cannot cancel deletion). After that, we delete or anonymise your data as described in thePrivacy Policy, including the limited ban record kept when a restricted account is deleted.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, create risk, expose us or others to legal liability, or if the Service is discontinued. If we discontinue the Service, we will give you reasonable notice where we can.

12. Our Rights

Flirty, its software, designs, trademarks, databases, interfaces and other intellectual property belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only as allowed by these Terms. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.

13. Service Availability and Disclaimers

We aim to keep Flirty available, secure and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, any particular match, message, date, relationship outcome, ad, recommendation or user behaviour. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or your mandatory consumer rights.

14. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flirty is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or harm caused by another user or third party. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Flirty for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or GBP 100, except where the law requires a higher amount or does not allow this limit.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms when the Service, law or business changes. If changes are material, we will give notice in the app, by email or on the website where required. Continuing to use Flirty after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription through the app store.

16. Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except that mandatory consumer protection laws of your country or state may still apply. Courts in England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
